Project completed using mixed media and electronic components. The project was to create an object that had a “memory” and could display lingering effects of interaction.

Robots Inséparables II

2010

The robots were created in two pairs that only responded to their corresponding partner. When the pair hugs, they recharge each other’s battery using a super-capacitor, while LEDS in their eyes and hearts slowly discharge this energy.

Project completed using mixed media. The mandate for this project was to design two different renditions of the letter P as objects. The first was an architectural maquette design of a landscape.

The second was an embroidered hummingbird confined within itself.

Faux Cowhide Dog Coat

2009

Project completed using mixed media. Mandate for this design was to create an object with multiple functions while incorporating an element of humor. I chose to construct a warm dog jacket that when removed becomes a dog bed. The cowhide adds an element of humor as it pokes fun at designer cowhide rugs.
